From October 3rd to 5th, 2025, the 28th International Fair Nature, Hunting, Fishing, Tourism will take place at the Varaždin Arena by the Drava River, organized by DMK Vall 042 d.o.o., with the support of the City of Varaždin and the Varaždin County. The event is also sponsored by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries.

This fair is the oldest specialized hunting and fishing fair in Croatia, with a tradition spanning 28 years.

The Fair Director, Maja Šimenc, emphasized:
"We expect around 70 exhibitors from 7 countries. We are particularly pleased that in recent years we have seen an increase in exhibitors, the arrival of new ones, and the return of some past participants. Regarding the hunting section, interest is extremely high, and the hall will be fully occupied. This year’s fair is also dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Croatian Hunting Association and the 90th anniversary of the Croatian Sport Fishing Association."

The fair mainly showcases a rich selection of hunting and outdoor equipment and products, with a smaller section dedicated to fishing gear. Family farms and artisans will also present their products.

Marijan Kolednjak, Secretary of the Sport Fishing Association of Varaždin County, announced:
"Next year, from June 2nd to 6th, 2026, the World Championship for people with disabilities and veterans will be held in Ivanec at Bajeri ŠRD Ivanec. The Croatian national team for people with disabilities in float fishing has won three world gold medals and three silver medals, and this year won bronze in Portugal."

Robert Hunjak, Secretary of the Hunting Association of Varaždin County, announced a lecture by Krešimir Krapinac on the opening day about Systems for Evaluating Hunting Trophies, as well as a cooking competition of hunting stews on Saturday at the outdoor area near the Arena. Teams from 22 hunting associations from Croatia and Slovenia will participate. On Saturday and Sunday, the Fair Cup in clay target shooting will also take place in Ljubešćica, organized by LD „Vepar“ Ljubešćica, with all competition spots already filled.

In addition to the display of the Croatian Hunting Association Museum, a special photo exhibition by Josip Horvat, entitled “Red Deer, King of the Forest”, will present the life cycle of the deer in 32 photographs.

This year, the City Museum of Varaždin, on the occasion of its 100th anniversary, will present an exhibition of painted shooting targets at the fair.

A new program feature this year is a plant terrarium workshop, with a few spots still available for interested visitors. Registration and more information are available at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
